'Hypertopographics' by Edward Burtynsky and Alkan Avcıoğlu arrives at Heft Gallery.
The artists add ten new artworks to a May released 'Hypertopographics #1', which originally sold for $18,000 USD to Redbeard. The new visual concept merges the worlds of photography and generative AI.
Thus far two public sales are in for $18,000 USD to delronde and $16,000 USD to an anonymous buyer. Two additional artworks move to Heft, leaving 6 available.
Via Alkan Avcıoğlu:
"A collaboration in the making since Paris Photo last year, a dream come to life working alongside the master, this work unfolds as a dialogue across generations of image-making. The exhibition introduces a new visual language that reimagines landscape in an age of overwhelming scale, technological complexity, and hyperreality. As humanity's imprint on earth continually surpasses our ability to comprehend, we offer with this show works that cut through, that slows people down enough to actually look and think."

Raster has arrived.
The new digital art marketplace from from thefunnyguys and metaclass is focusing on solving fragmentation. Essentially that means making it easy and enjoyable to see what an artist has created, across categories and chains.
This tool is essential to organizing the vast tokenized art space and early eras of artist experimentation, and we'll be watching closely. I fondly recall sitting down with Jan at Art Basel, Switzerland, seeing an early iteration and immediately thinking "yes please".
A first thought that strikes me is how hard Tezos should be leaning into Raster right this second with marketing, resources, and investment if possible. This is the most effective way that a collector can see, engage with, and collect - for example - die with the most likes in a manner that puts the art first, chain second.
Catch Up: Yesterday I joined DarrenSRS on his show to recap the month of August across digital art.
Today Reported:
Sales thresholds of 4 ETH+ Collection, 0.3 ETH+ 1/1, 0.7 ETH+ 1/1/X, and 0.3 ETH+ Edition

This one is fun to see. Anthony Azekwoh's newest artwork 'The Bridesmaid' broke through on social media, now surpassing 7 million views.
A meaningful wrinkle is that the original was collected by Elizabeth Tsehai for 0.155 ETH on SuperRare two days ago when the surge had only just begun. Now artist and collector are enjoying the ride together alongside a powerful piece that has sparked conversation.
